  • Only Seven Left is an up-and-coming pop band from the Netherlands who crashed onto the Dutch music scene in 2005. The band, consisting of Bram, Bjørgen, Roderick, Jochem and Hinne, released their latest album in 2012 (Anywhere From Here) and has been hitting the headlines for all the right reasons ever since. After extensively touring the Netherlands in 2012, they’re currently playing in Indonesia.
Bram, the drummer, recently told us in an interview that the band has a strong presence on Tumblr, as well as on other social media platforms including YouTube—their video diaries, for example, are treasured among their fan base. “We absolutely love the contact we have with our fans and try to answer each and every message personally. It’s a kick to get a message on Twitter saying that your concert was awesome.” Bram reckons that a big part of their success as a band can be attributed to their use of social media, although music is and will always remain priority number one.
In answer to where he thinks Only Seven Left will be in five years time, Bram says: “I don’t know what the future holds in store for us, but I hope we’re still the best of friends who perform at fantastic gigs - and go on spectacular adventures! Big festivals, a tour overseas, opening for the biggest stars, more fans….. and just having a blast!”
